Cazier Excavating Inc is seeking motivated laborers with the willingness to learn. We value continuous improvement and encourage our employees to expand their skills and gain experience within the excavation industry. Laborers will work with grading, installing underground utilities, and other work associated with excavation. Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, dependable, punctual, and available to work full-time Monday through Friday. A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities:
• Tasks will include shoveling, fine grading and operating small compaction equipment.
• Assist with grading and excavation tasks.
• Work on the installation of underground utilities such as water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools associated with excavation and utility installation.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
• No experience necessary.
• Must be able to lift 90 pounds repeatedly and be on your feet all day.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience in construction, excavation, or utility work is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and team player attitude.
• You must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation as our job sites include Weber, Salt Lake, Tooele and Utah Counties.
• You must be dependable, on time, and able to work full-time M-F.
• Occasional weekend work is available during busy seasons.

Cazier Excavating Inc is seeking a reliable construction truck driver with 3-4 years of driving experience. We value hard-working individuals with excellent time-management skills, and a commitment to safety. We encourage employees to expand their skills and gain experience in our industry. The position involves operating multiple styles of trucks, including but not limited to dump trucks with/without pups and/or side dumps, to safely transport aggregate and construction materials to and from job sites or perform on site hauling.
Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with doubles/triples endorsement (no restrictions) is required; a tanker endorsement is preferred.
A current medical card and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), per company standards, are required.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, dependable, punctual, and available to work full-time Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Importing & exporting aggregate or other related construction materials to job sites safely and in a timely manner.
• Can operate equipment safely, efficiently, has the ability for maneuvering and backing with/without pup and able to connect and disconnect pup trailer.
• Must keep time and material records.
• Daily pre-trip / post-trip inspection of the truck is required to ensure the vehicle is safe and in good working condition.
• Always adhere to Federal, State and Company regulations and procedures. This includes following traffic rules, securing the load properly and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Effective communication with site supervisors and other team members is vital.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand maps.
• Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and commitment to safety.
Qualifications:
• Physically able for heavy lifting and general labor duties as needed to support construction activities.
• Tolerance for all weather conditions.
• Occasional weekend work is available during busy seasons.
